Pole Barns

Pole barn construction is a popular and efficient method of building a variety of structures, from storage sheds and workshops to livestock barns and even large commercial buildings. At the heart of this construction technique is the use of sturdy, vertically-installed posts or "poles" that are sunk directly into the ground, eliminating the need for a traditional foundation.

These poles, typically made of treated wood or steel, serve as the main support system for the structure, allowing for wide-open interior spaces without the constraints of load-bearing walls. The walls themselves are then built by attaching horizontal boards, metal panels, or other cladding materials directly to the exterior of the poles, creating a durable and weather-resistant envelope. The roof, meanwhile, is typically a simple gable or gambrel design that spans the distance between the poles, using trusses or rafters to provide the necessary support. Our services include:

Pole barns are prized for their practicality, versatility, and cost-effective nature, making them a common sight in rural, suburban, and even urban settings where functional, no-frills storage and workspace is in demand.
